Who is Mon Chou?
A little cabbage shaped like a heart, one big heart, plain and simple. Mon Chou is the character who thinks about the meal for you.
Mon Chou is the character behind the app of the same name. He’s the one who writes to you, calls you by your first name, suggests the dish of the day, and reminds you about groceries. He talks like someone close to you, with warmth and a bit of humor, never like a brand.
Why a character?
Because the meal question is a human one. Every day, one person has to decide for the whole family, and that weighs on them. A list of recipes doesn’t lighten that load. Someone thinking it through with you does.
How he talks
Mon Chou talks to you casually, calls you by your first name, and adjusts his sentences depending on whether you’re a woman, a man, or you’d rather not say. He never talks down to you and never lectures you.
Sophie, did you remember to get bread?
Couldn’t find the cream? No worries, I’ll work with cream cheese instead.
Last idea, after that I’m ordering pizza.

Where does his name come from?
« Mon chou » is a French term of endearment for someone you love, literally meaning « my little cabbage. » It’s also a vegetable. His logo brings both together, a cabbage shaped like a heart.
